The sub-roof – the smart, reliable intermediate layer.
Irrespective of whether clay roof tiles, concrete roof tiles or other roof materials are used, the design of the sub-roof is of decisive importance for the tightness and weather resistance of the entire roof. Basically, with this layer a distinction is made between trussing membranes and sub-roof membranes. However, the distinction simply refers to the method of membrane installation. Trussing membranes are nailed to the rafters and hang in the intermediate spaces. Sub-roof membranes are applied to solid sheathing. CREATON roof membranes are basically suitable for both areas of application.
CREATON roof membranes are basically suitable for all types of roofing and effectively protect the building from weather, diffusion and wind. The roof only becomes a functioning unit with the correct sub-roof design.
You will find classic roof membranes and versions for special requirements in the CREATON accessory programme. Of course, the correct roof membrane for every roof and situation is determined when selecting the roof.
